A: The 2010 National Student Rodeo will be held at the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham, from the 5th - 7th of March, 2010
A: We believe the NSR is the biggest freestyle kayaking event in the world, the biggest student kayaking event in the UK and the best paddling party anywhere!
A: Once you have learnt basic grammar, and attended an institute of Higher Education you too will be eligible to enter NSR. The NSR is open to Higher Education Students only (i.e. University Students - over 18s).
A: Of course you can!! There are categories for novice, intermediate and expert designed to allow newbies to compete against each other and win prizes. You must however for safety reasons be of (old) BCU 3* standard and comply to HPP Course Code of Practice. It is up the each University captain to ensure that their entrants are of adequate ability.
A: There might be, subject to timings.
A: You will probably feel very sick after the weekend, but that will have more to do with the alcohol you consume rather than the water. If you swim, close your mouth.
A: Your club captain will post a sign up sheet in the New Year, your captain will then register you to our online system. If you are the captain and do not have your username or password please contact us here to request an account.
A: Chat to your Captain get them to E mail us thought the contacts page and set the ball rolling.
