The National Student Rodeo is the largest freestyle kayaking event in the world with over 1000 people in attendance. Get involved by donating some prizes to the event, and in return we can offer you space for advertising, space for stalls and a link on this page targeted to an audience of students and outdoor types from across the UK.

Headline Sponsors

	PGL have been on board for a few years now. The event is in keeping with PGL’s own core values and offers opportunities for students of all levels and abilities to enjoy time on the water developing, enhancing and displaying their paddling skills in a fun, supportive and relaxed environment. The Rodeo may start with several individual teams; however they all come together as one big paddling community. PGL have their own prize given to the Uni who over the weekend give the Judges the biggest smiles.

	Good friends of the rodeo, Palm and Dagger will be coming along to the rodeo again this year. So we have heard form Palm head office that they will be making us up a special NSR mmx themed Axiom 8.5, you can check out all the details in the latest Dagger Europe work book here. Main Sponsors

	Kukri will be offering the winning team a £250 kit voucher as well as running an inflatable sofa event (more details to follow). For club kit check out their website.

	LiLi have put together a wicked Uganda 'club trip' package aimed at a mixed ability group. Every level of paddler gets quality coaching and quality paddling to suit them, all the logistics and hassles taken care of and for club captains / trip sec's... a Half price trip is available if they organise three others, and a completely free trip if they organise six others. LiLi will also be running a raffle over the weekend and the winner will get an all expenses paid trip to the nile (excluding flights).

	Dave Hepworth and Extreme Care will be on hand all weekend co-ordinating rescue teams on the course and helping with first aid. 	Alpkit have supported many past rodeos and this year they are back with their ever increasing product range which will out fit you for any paddling adventure you have planed.

	Desperate Measures will be available all weekend with an on site shop to add any more items to your paddling kit collection. They will be offering a years sponsorship to the most deserved paddler and providing a tonne of vouchers for prizes. They will also be bringing along a tonne of demo boats from Dagger, Liquid Logic, Jackson Kayak, Big Dog and Wavesport.

	Canoe & Kayak Magazine have kindly offered to donate a free magazine to go in each competitors goodybag to keep you entertained when off the water.

	Thoroughly nice guy, Mr Tom Parker is a purveyor of many fine courses tailored to either the latest BCU syllabus or your individual needs. Passion about helping you develop your kayaking is always in abundance – be it in the UK, France, Italy, Slovenia or Norway. We shun the dogmatic, proscriptive approach to white water kayaking of old in favour of a positive, dynamic ethic that fits the challenging medium we favour.

	If anyone is in touch with the student paddler it is Chris Eastabrook. Whether you want to hone in core white water concepts, keep progressing beyond grade 3 boating, or ramp it up steep creeking style, Chris has a course for you. Following some extensive globe trotting with kayak on shoulder, Chris Eastabrook coaching has a range of world wide trips including Georgia – new for 2010!

	One of the most accomplished female paddlers in the UK, Lowri Davies of Flow Free coaching has kindly offered a free coaching clinic over the weekend. If you want to get involved, bookings will be held first come first serve at registration on the Friday of the event. 	Saturday night of the rodeo will host a screening of one of the most anticipated kayaking movies ever. Not only this Rush Sturges and, world record waterfall holder, Tyler Bradt will be coming along to answer questions, chat about the movie and, of course, get stuck into the party. NSR MMX will also be holding a world exclusive look at the some of the footage of Means of Production 2 on Saturday night over in the marquee with footage of Russia and Vietnam just to name a couple.
