Food will be provided on the Friday night but this year we are not taking pre-orders. River Legacy will serve Beer and Gourmet Burger on a first come first served basis.

Registration Deadlines

The deadline for entries is February 11th

The deadline for receipt of cheques is February 18th

Each year we try and push our limits of how many K1’s compete, and due to the Rodeo's immense popularity the places fill up fast, so register online as soon as it opens. If you are the captain, or your club’s representative and are having any problems logging into Online Reg, contact us ASAP.

Format

The event will be run in the format of an extreme slalom, followed by a rodeo style jam session. Finals will follow the format of a jam session.

K1

Each K1 entrant will paddle in the Extreme Slalom on Saturday morning performing tricks en-route down the course, this allows us to form groups of the same ability.

There are no points awarded for fancy dress or out of boat tricks in the Extreme Slalom.

Start times for the Extreme Slalom will be generated after Online Reg closes. They will also be published around the course and handed to Captains.

Heats take the form of Jam sessions and the times and locations of these will be announced towards the end of the extreme slalom.

C1 and Squirt

Both events will start with a flat water event designed by the judges, the top scorers will then move onto the course for the final. These events will only run if there is deemed to be enough competitors (a minimum of 10).

Duo

Duos will race down the course performing a 360 turn on any axis en-route, the winner of each round will then be put forward to the jam session final where the winner will be decided.
