The National Student Rodeo is the largest freestyle kayaking event in the world with over 1000 students in attendance. If you want to get involved, whether to donate prizes, offer monetary support or provide us with the accessories which help the rodeo run then please get in contact using the email address on the “contacts us” page. In return we can negotiate a deal, with offers including free advertising, the space for a stall at the event and a link on this page. Together we can help you to target an audience of students and outdoor types from all across the UK.

PGL will be returning to the rodeo this year, bringing with them 140 brand new bibs without which the competition would not happen! The event is in keeping with PGL's own core values and offers opportunities for students of all levels and abilities to enjoy time on the water developing, enhancing and displaying their paddling skills in a fun, supportive and relaxed environment.

Long time rodeo supporters Palm and Dagger will be back with another amazing rodeo boat to give away, and this year they are bringing some AT paddles with them as well! Palm gear keeps more students warm and dry on the water than any other brand. With wicked prizes they get fully involved in the rodeo and their face book and blog is often the place to see the the best shots and videos.

The Dagger NSR special prize boat is always hotly anticipated. Based on each years theme these custom one off boats are now officially collectors items and competition to win one is fierce. With free demo boats and Dj's on their stand they always have a good vantage point for all the fun.

Zet kayaks are back for another year supporting the rodeo! Once again they will be bringing along a demo fleet for you to try out as well as providing a Zet Veloc as a prize!

Wavesport is back for 2012 with their demo fleet as well as plenty of free stuff and a brand new wavesport D75 to give away!

Tom Parker (of Tom Parker Coaching fame) will be back again providing another coaching clinic and prize! Details on this year's prize coming soon!

If anyone is in touch with the student paddler it is Chris Eastabrook. Whether you want to hone in core white water concepts, keep progressing beyond grade 3 boating, or ramp it up steep creeking style, Chris has a course for you. Once again Chris will be giving away an amazing 2 days of guiding to a lucky club!

Steve Brooks from Kayak School Arlberg will be making his debut appearance at this year's Rodeo. The School, close to Landeck, Austria runs courses for beginners all the way up to advanced kayakers, as well as guiding on rivers from class III to class V. He is donating a 2-day, all expenses paid (except travel to Austria) coaching or guiding prize for the coming 2012 season.

Nookie will be getting you into the party in 2012, sponsoring all the wristbands for NSR 2012! As well as this they will be on hand with their full range of paddling kit plus plenty of amazing prizes to be won!

Rich from Sue's Canoes will be at the rodeo this year and he's bringing with him demo boats, a coaching workshop and some great prizes!

Although there's a lot of swimming and hand paddling at NSR, most people at some point need a paddle and if you want some hot sticks these are the guys to see. Used by the world's top boaters they are pretty delicious.

NSR 2012 will hopefully be premiering Rush Sturges' new paddling movie about the recent Congo expedition, A descent through the biggest rapids on earth. Rush will also be sending over copies of his amazing 2011 movie Frontier as prizes!

Another new-comer to the Rodeo this year, Fire-It-Up are the main UK distributors of Select Paddles. They will be bringing along demo paddles as well as some goodies such as t-shirt and hoodies to give away.

Andy Turton has just launched his new company name Ty Nant Outdoors. As usual he will be too busy to see much of the daytime event let alone do some workshops as he heads up the party as the licensee. He is returning to Sponsor the NSR this year. The Ty Nant Kayak School is donating some give away prizes during the weekend so keep your eye and ears open. They will also give away a Coaching/Guiding workshop or a place on a BCU/UKCC course.
